Charlene Arcila

AmeriCorps Site Supervisor parent organization / Executive Administrative Assistant

Served as Vice President of the Board of Director of TPAC for four years prior to becoming employed as a Transgender Outreach Education Specialist at ActionAIDS.  After 9 months of being employed she was offered an Administrative position of Special Programs of TPAC.  She served as an Administrative Assistant for the Deputy Director then gradually work into a Site Supervisor position for our AmeriCorps ACTS program and assistant to the CFO in financial operations.

She is a community advocate working with interfaith communities, trans-identified communites and those dealing with substance abuse issues.

She is a certified prevention counselor and testor and is an experienced consultant on Gender Identiy, Orientation and Expression.

She has served in the HIV/AIDS community as a client advocate for more than 20 years.
