about Lisette Irarrasabal
Lisette has been Asociate Profesor at the School of Nursing of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Project Coordinator, of the project “Mobilizing Health Workers/Community HIV Prevention in Chile”, National Institute of Health, USA (NIH) in 2004 – 2008. Also, was the PI for the RAPID TEST FOR HIV: AN ALTERNATIVE TO HIV ELISA TEST USED AS SCREENING IN CHILE USING ORAL FLUID (Evaluacion De un Test Rapido para VIH en Secrecion Oral) research project funded by the 2009 Interdisciplinary Research Special Contest, Faculty of Medicine, the Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile (PUC), Chile. (2011) and PI for the research project (intervencion and Prevencion de VIH/SIDA en Hombres y Mujeres Chilenos en desventaja Social) HIV/AIDS Prevention and Interventions for disenfranchised men and Women in Chile.
Ms Irarrasabal has also been Project Coordinator, of the project “Testing an HIV/AIDS Prevention Intervention for Chilean Women” and most resently she has been the Project Coordinator, of the project “Testing an HIV/AIDS Prevention Intervention for Chilean men”. Ms Irarrasabal was also the liaison and Coordinator in collaboration with WHCI for the introduction to Chile of the first prevention certification and rapid oral HIV testing program. Ms. Irrarasabal is currently a PHD candidate in Health Policy Administration from the School Public Health at The University of Illinois, Chicago.
