Natalja Karol-Cao

Ms. Natalja Karol leads the work of WHCI in Eastern and Central Europe. For the past  9 years, Ms. Karol has coordinated and conducted a number of capacity building trainings for social workers, case managers, and other professionals working with people living with HIV/AIDS. Her work also includes experience with direct services such as an emergency food voucher program, a transitional referral program for incarcerated individuals living with HIV/AIDS, and prevention counseling and testing services. Ms. Karol has provided medical interpretation trainings and served as an interpreter and cultural broker in a variety of medical settings. Ms. Karol, a native of Lithuania, is fluent in English, Russian, and Lithuanian.
